Filing the accounts is the part everyone can see. It is also the part that tells you the least. Apex starts where most practices stop, by reading what the figures are actually saying about cash, margin, tax exposure and the decisions in front of you.
That means management information you can act on, tax planned in advance rather than reported after the fact, and a team that understands the commercial pressure behind the numbers. The compliance still happens, quietly and on time.
The shape of a year
One half of the year sets the tax bill.
The other half only reports it.
Gold is the half of the year you can still change. Plum is the half that only reports it. Drawn against a 31 December year end; your own year end moves the dates, never the shape.

Anas Jawed has over 5 years as an accountant with extensive expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, business advisory services and managing relationships with multiple clients. He has experience working as a senior associate at a ‘Big Four’ audit firm, and has expertise across income tax returns, payroll (including CIS) and bookkeeping. He is an ACCA finalist with an MBA Finance. He is proficient at operating Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, IRIS and Moneysoft.
